By creating an account or using the SYP mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use SYP. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Share Your Plans SRL ("SYP", "we", "us"), a Belgian company (BCE No. BE1034.288.729).
You must be at least 18 years old to create a SYP account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally permitted to use the service in your jurisdiction. SYP performs basic age verification at registration through date of birth. Accounts found to belong to individuals under 18 will be immediately banned.
SYP is an activity-based matching platform that enables users to express independent real-life activity intentions and connects users only upon mutual acceptance of the same activity. SYP is not a dating app, not a passive content platform, and not a user tracking or geolocation tool of any kind.

Two connection mechanisms exist on SYP:
Double Acceptance (algorithm): When the algorithm detects two compatible Plans, both users independently accept or decline. A connection is only formed upon mutual acceptance.
Request to Join: A Gold subscriber can browse existing Plans from other users and send a request to join their plans in the Explorer mode. The Plan owner can view the requester's profile before deciding, and decides to accept or decline each request.
In both cases, no communication is possible before acceptance, and no user can contact another outside of these mechanisms.
SYP does not collect or use GPS coordinates or real-time device location data at any point. Activity locations are manually entered by users and relate solely to the activity, not to user tracking or positioning.
By registering for a SYP account, you agree not to engage in any of the following conduct, including but not limited to:
SYP reserves the right to restrict, suspend or permanently ban any account, or to remove content, on the following grounds (this list being non-exhaustive): violation of these Terms, suspected fraud or abusive behaviour, receipt of a substantiated complaint from another Member, court order or legal obligation, or a serious threat to the integrity of the Platform or the safety of its users. SYP will inform the affected Member of the reason for the measure and of the possibility to contest it by writing to contact@syp-app.com within 30 days, except where such information is prohibited by law, would compromise an ongoing investigation or the safety of another Member, or where the account is manifestly fraudulent. Suspension without prior notice remains possible in case of serious or urgent risk.
SYP provides an in-app reporting feature available on all user profiles. Members are encouraged to report any conduct that violates these Terms, including but not limited to fake accounts, harassment, inappropriate content, or suspicious behaviour.
Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. SYP reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate, including warning, suspending, or permanently banning the reported account. SYP reserves the right to take action against Members who submit reports in bad faith or for purposes of harassment.
To report an issue outside the app, contact us at contact@syp-app.com, indicating the reported user or Plan and the conduct or content concerned.
You are solely responsible for all content you post. By submitting a Plan, you confirm that the activity is lawful, safe, accurately described, and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
SYP does not verify and does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, legality, feasibility, suitability, quality, or legitimacy of any Plan, activity, Member, or content made available through the Platform. Any moderation activity, report review, warning, suspension, content removal, or other action taken by SYP shall not constitute a verification, certification, endorsement, approval, recommendation, or guarantee of any Plan, activity, Member, or content. Users participate in activities, communicate with other Members, and attend meetings entirely at their own discretion and risk. SYP assumes no responsibility and shall have no liability for any loss, damage, injury, dispute, misconduct, unlawful act, omission, or other event arising directly or indirectly from any Plan, activity, communication, interaction, Match, request to join, meeting, or relationship between Members, whether occurring before, during, or after any in-person interaction.
You retain ownership of your content. You grant SYP a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, store, and distribute your content within the App solely for the purpose of operating the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.
You warrant that you hold all necessary rights to the content you post — including photos shared in Chat Threads or added to Plans — and that such content does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
SYP reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law, without prior notice.
SYP offers the following subscription tiers:
Pricing varies by region. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes:
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically each month, at the price displayed at checkout, unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your device's App Store or Play Store subscription settings, with effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed exclusively via Apple App Store and Google Play Store in-app purchase systems. SYP does not store payment card information.
Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies for in-app purchases. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, you benefit from the statutory right of withdrawal, exercised directly with the store through which you subscribed, and from the statutory conformity guarantee for digital services; nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer. You may delete your account at any time directly from within the App via the Settings menu. Once you request deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period during which you may reactivate it by logging back in. After this 30-day period, your account and associated personal data are permanently deleted. Account deletion will initiate the removal of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you have an active subscription, we recommend cancelling it before deleting your account to avoid further charges. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Your personal data is processed by Share Your Plans SRL as an EU-established data controller; where you are located in the European Economic Area, it is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and you hold the rights set out in our Privacy Policy, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection.
The SYP name, logo (registered trademark, 2026), App, and all associated content and technology are the exclusive property of Share Your Plans SRL. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or intellectual property without our prior written consent.
SYP is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by the law applicable to you. This does not affect the statutory conformity guarantee applicable to consumers in the European Economic Area.
SYP does not verify the identity, background, or intentions of its Members beyond basic registration requirements. Users interact with unknown individuals at their own risk.
Any decision to meet another Member is made independently and entirely at the user's own risk. SYP does not organise, supervise, or control any in-person meetings. SYP is not a party to any arrangement or meeting that occurs between Members.
SYP does not influence, recommend, or guarantee any match, interaction, or outcome. All matches result solely from user-defined criteria and independent decisions made by each user.
Users are solely responsible for evaluating the safety, suitability, and legality of any interaction or activity. By using the Platform, you assume full responsibility for all inherent risks associated with in-person meetings with other Members, including but not limited to risks of physical harm, emotional distress, property damage, fraud, or criminal conduct by other users.
SYP acts solely as a technical intermediary and shall not be considered an event organiser, service provider, or participant in any activity facilitated through the Platform.
Members should exercise caution when meeting others in person. SYP recommends meeting in public places, informing a trusted person before attending an activity, and leaving immediately if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
SYP acts solely as a technical intermediary facilitating connections between independent users. It has no involvement in, control over, or responsibility for any activity, meeting, or interaction between Members, and shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by another Member or by a third party, or arising from an activity or meeting organised through the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by the law applicable to you (as set out in Section 12), SYP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of profit or loss of opportunity. SYP's total liability to you for any other loss shall not exceed the amount you paid to SYP in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits SYP's liability for its fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, including that of its employees or agents, for the non-performance of one of its main obligations under these Terms other than in case of force majeure, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of your country of habitual residence. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
SYP shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to internet outages, third-party service failures, natural disasters, or governmental actions.
SYP is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. You acknowledge that:
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation within 30 days of written notice sent to contact@syp-app.com.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any dispute may be brought before the competent courts of Belgium. This choice of courts is not exclusive: if you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings before the courts of your country of habitual residence, and proceedings by SYP against a consumer resident in the European Economic Area may only be brought before the courts of that consumer's country of residence.
Nothing in these Terms deprives you of the protection afforded by provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the law of your country of habitual residence, whether inside or outside the European Economic Area. If, under the mandatory law of your country of habitual residence, the choice of Belgian law or of the Belgian courts cannot be enforced against you, the law and the courts of that country shall apply to the extent so required, without affecting the validity of the remainder of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time for valid reasons, including changes in applicable law or regulatory requirements, security or technical reasons, changes to the features of the Platform, or the correction of errors. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree with a change, you may cancel your subscription free of charge before the effective date by deleting your account; any prepaid subscription period is then handled in accordance with the refund policies referred to in Section 7. Continued use of SYP after the effective date, once notified, constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
SYP endeavours to maintain the App available at all times but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The service may be temporarily suspended or restricted for maintenance, updates, security reasons, or circumstances beyond SYP's reasonable control. SYP will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a competent court, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
The failure of SYP to enforce any right or provision of these Terms at any time shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorised representative of SYP to be effective.
These Terms are drafted in English. In the event that a translated version is made available, the English version shall prevail in case of any inconsistency or dispute, to the extent permitted by the mandatory law applicable to you. An Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) version of these Terms is available on request at contact@syp-app.com.
